A'Maria is a reality check, it is an outcry of how small we are when forward facing the forces of nature. We are organisms witnessing the outcome of a disaster; where there was light we see darkness. It's our duty to support the land.
DICE(S)
Dice(s) plays with dualism and perception. The choreography is inspired in viewing life as a competition, the survival of the fittest. Dice for each time you need to run your move. Dices, because everyone has something to say.
NOSTALGIA
Premiered for the Master's Performance Workshop at Tisch School of the Arts, NYU. The work is a reflection on social inequality, power relationships, and gender. It is also influenced by the nostalgia experienced for being away from Puerto Rico, especially after Hurricane Maria devastated the island.
PASO...
Paso... is a structured improvisation. The duet shows a toxic relationship. Both performers are constantly switching from the dominant to the dominated. Paso... honors the times when it becomes necessary to break with cycles and move on.

A revisited work from an original solo version choreographed by Collazo. A group of seven individuals begin their journey to self-empowerment after experiencing the misadventures of love.

A duet infused with physical theater that was created for the CircoFest 2016 edition. At some point, we all find ourselves wandering through life.
KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCK
Knocking on doors does not guarantee they will open. Knock, knock, knock™ is a mask theater trio created in collaboration with Joseph Osheroff, director of Humunculus Mask Theater. It premiered in 2017 at the Jack Crystal Theater, NYC. In the piece the characters show mood swings as they face they won't always get what they want.
